Forcht Bank announced today that Kevin Bruce has been named as the Chief Information Officer.

Mr. Bruce began his career in 1989 as a COBOL programmer for a regional life insurance company in Ohio. 1996 found him moving to Lexington to work as an IT Systems Analyst with a large multinational manufacturing firm. He took on more project management responsibilities as his career progressed and even picked up experience in sales, where he learned the importance of building customer relationships and developing new revenue streams. He joined Forcht Group in 2009 as an IT Project Manager working with Kentucky National Insurance. In 2010, he became the IT Director for Forcht Group working closely with Kentucky National Insurance, Kentucky Home Life Insurance and Forcht Bank.

Before starting his career, Mr. Bruce graduated from Eastern Kentucky University with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration with a major focus in Computer Information Systems.

Kevin Bruce resides in Lexington with his wife of 22 years, Becky. They have a son who attends Lafayette high school and a daughter who attends EKU. Mr. Bruce enjoys spending his free time with his family or playing a round of golf on a nice day.
