The Forcht Group is seeking a Graphic Design/Digital Media Assistant.  This entry level, part-time position provides graphic design and social media support (photography video) for a small but growing multimedia team.  (WordPress, InDesign, Photoshop, and Adobe Creative Suite proficiency required.) This position is located in Lexington Kentucky.

 Essential Duties & Responsibilities

To perform this position successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily.

  • Provide graphic design across all multimedia channels (marketing, promotions, multi-page print layouts, advertising materials, and digital media).
  • Design advertising, presentations, and proposals for print, online, and social media campaigns shoot video and photography (daily)
  • Create and edit multi-page print layouts; create digital and print ads; set up files correctly for both print and web
  • Create visually compelling, SEO-friendly landing pages
  • Create multiple weekly Constant Contact newsletters
  • Develop and maintain accurate client files and documentation
  • Provide social media implementation across all platforms
  • Manage and modify all design and layout as necessary for our websites and client websites (WordPress)
  • Provide digital artwork for multiple teams (graphic design, photo editing, video editing, media archives, website updates and design)
  • Schedule and fulfill multiple client project deliverables (social media, ads, online digital — visuals video)
  • Other duties as assigned

  • Minimum of two (2) years professional graphic and digital design experience supporting an advertising, agency, magazine/newspaper, or multimedia team.
  • Experience in the following:
    • Utilizing Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign etc), WordPress, PowerPoint/Prezi/Google slides and Microsoft products.
    • Photography/Video
    • Social Media campaign management and tracking Constant Contact/ Mail Chimp

 Required Education and Experience

  • Minimum of two (2) years professional graphic and digital design experience supporting an advertising, agency, magazine/newspaper, or multimedia team.
  • Associates degree in graphic design, advertising, marketing, or strategic communications

 Other Requirements

  • May be required to attend outside activities to stay abreast of new developments and best practices.

  • Ability to work on a flexible schedule when needed that at times may include late working hours or weekend hours.
