The Hamburg Journal first went to print in 2003 as a monthly publication focused on the business and residential growth and development in the Hamburg area of Lexington. More than 24,000 copies of the Hamburg Journal are distributed monthly to homes and businesses throughout the Hamburg area of Lexington.
The Whitley Whiz publishes the News-Journal in Corbin and Williamsburg, reaching more than 8,500 readers every week with news, sports and feature stories in Laurel, Knox and Whitley counties. To fit in with ever-expanding technological advancements, The News Journal now offers many online services via their website. The News-Journal traces its journalist roots back to the Whitley Republican, first published in 1908. The Whitley Whiz also publishes several real estate and community guides for Corbin and surrounding areas.
Forcht Broadcasting signed on the air in 1981, and currently operates 22 radio stations in Kentucky, Indiana, and Illinois. The stations are located in Columbia, London, Hopkinsville, Paintsville, Somerset, and Whitesburg, Kentucky; Crawfordsville, Indiana; and Olney/Newton, Illinois. Our stations are programmed to fit the values and lifestyles of each unique market.
